DAME Helen Mirren has signed up to front coverage of the 80th anniversary of D-Day for the BBC.
The Oscar winner will be hosting during live broadcast D-Day 80: The Allies Prepare.
It will air from 10.15am on June 5 in Portsmouth, where Allies departed for the beaches of Normandy.
Helen will be joined by TV favourites Anita Rani and JJ Chalmers (both right).
