HUMANS will not be the most dominant species on Earth for much longer.
Martin Rees, the Astronomer Royal, reckons Al machines will take our place as top dogs on the planet possibly in 100 years.
He said: "It may be only one or two more centuries before humans are overtaken by inorganic intelligence.
"If this happens, our species would have been just a brief interlude in Earth's history before the machines take over.
