GRAHAM LINKS ONLY ADD TO UNITED CHAOS
It's Potty to blame Ten Hag

THE malaise at Manchester United looks set to worsen at Anfield tomorrow.

There's a good chance United could lose their next three games to make it five on the trot. Few managers can survive such a run at the biggest clubs in the world.

There is no doubt the clock is ticking for Erik ten Hag. But the Dutchman should still be given time.

The United boss is getting it due to the chaos behind the scenes as the wait for Sir Jim Ratcliffe's purchase of 25 per cent of the club, and the control over the football operations that comes with that, is stalling.

Yet this week ahead of United's trip to Liverpool two names have been linked with replacing him.

Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter. Two very different managers with very different CVs who would demand very different things from the club.
