JONNY EVANS admits it has been tough seeing Manchester United staff lose their jobs as part of the radical overhaul of the club.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe has vowed to cut 250 jobs almost a quarter of United's workforce - as part of a drive to bring down costs at the club and make it sustainable.
Some staff who were scheduled to go on United's pre-season tour of the US were taken off the trip late on, with defender Evans admitting the job losses have affected the players.
Evans, who has spent the majority of his career at United, said: "I had a spell away, but I've been at the club a long time and a lot of people have lost their jobs this last couple of weeks.
