JURGEN KLOPP is close to turning Liverpool back into a title-winning machine – according to one of Pep Guardiola’s trusted ex-lieutenants.
The Reds’ boss was lavished with praise by new Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca, who said that only Manchester City have prevented the German from creating another dynasty of success on Merseyside.
Maresca takes the Foxes to Anfield tonight in the Carabao Cup under no illusions as to the size of the task.
The Italian (inset) worked under Guardiola for two seasons but says that he has been a student of Klopp’s too.
He said: “I’ve tried to analyse and study Jurgen Klopp for a long time now because the way they work and the way they press is unbelievable.
