KEVIN'S U-TURN

KEVIN DE BRUYNE is poised to turn his back on a £1ma-week deal in Saudi Arabia and stay at Manchester City – for the sake of his family.

The midfield ace has been holding talks with Pro League outfit Al-Ittihad and had agreed in principle a threeyear contract worth £156m.

Al-Ittihad boss Laurent Blanc wanted De Bruyne to link up with N’Golo Kante (inset, top) and Karim Benzema (inset, bottom) and was confident of landing the Belgium superstar.

But De Bruyne will now remain with Pep Guardiola’s champions for one more season at least.
