Fellow pundits Ian Wright, 59, Alan Shearer, 52, and Alex Scott, 38, vowed to boycott the show in "solidarity".
Lineker, 62, divided the nation when he slammed PM Rishi Sunak's controversial "stop the boats" immigration policy and compared language used around it to 1930s Germany.
