THE Daily Star has joined the treasure hunt for the most valuable shipwreck in Britain's history.
Mystery surrounds the Merchant Royal, which sank 400 years ago with £4billion worth of gold on board.
Shipwreck boffins have launched a hunt for the remains near the Isles of Scilly, Cornwall.
Locals claim the location of the buried valuables is an open secret.
But experts have warned it's too dangerous for even the bravest divers.
