LUKE LITTLER has gone from the "middle of nowhere" to almost reaching the top of the world.

And now the teenage darting sensation is eyeing the records of the great Phil 'The Power' Taylor.

Littler was powered by chocolate and sweets as he added another jewel to his crown with his first major ranking win at the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton on Sunday.

Littler, 17, wiped the floor with Martin Lukeman in the final to pick up the £150,000 winner's cheque and move to No.5 in the world.

"The Nuke' burst on to the scene a year ago and reached the World Championship final on debut, losing to Luke Humphries at Alexandra Palace.
