
STEVE BORTHWICK insists his England side have nothing to hide and players are free to speak their minds in camp.
His comments come after former Red Rose scrum-half Danny Care lifted the lid on life under Borthwick’s predecessor Eddie Jones (inset) in his autobiography ‘Everything Happens for a Reason’.
Care described the environment under the Aussie as toxic and like living in a dictatorship.
And Borthwick, who was Jones’ assistant with England from 2016 to 2019, revealed the players are welcome to challenge him in the new regime.
