ENGLAND captain Owen Farrell has pulled out of this season's Six Nations "to prioritise his and his family's mental wellbeing".
The news comes a week after the 31-year-old insisted he was going nowhere as, "I absolutely love what I do. I don't see that changing any time soon"
There was no explanation from either the player or his club Saracens following the sudden change of heart.
But he was subjected to vile abuse on social media prior to the World Cup after being red-carded against Wales and initially escaping a ban.
