BRAZILIAN new boy Lucas Pires made a sensational debut as Burnley gave new boss Scott Parker victory in his first league game in charge.
Full-back Pires, 23, signed from Santos, split Luton apart with a great pass to send Josh Brownhill in for the Clarets' first goal in the sixth minute.
Parker's men went on to smash the Hatters with goals from Wilson Odobert in the 37th minute, Dara O'Shea after 72 minutes and Vitinho 10 minutes from the end, with Tahith Chong's goal counting for little.
