BRISTOL CITY V MAN CITY
KICK-OFF: 8pm, ITV
NIGEL PEARSON hopes to produce a “sensational” FA Cup upset tonight by knocking out Manchester City and Riyad Mahrez, the player he considers his best signing.
Bristol City manager Pearson signed Algerian forward Mahrez from Le Havre for around £450,000 in January 2014 when he was in charge of Leicester.
Mahrez sensationally won the Premier League title with the Foxes two years later before making a £60m move to Manchester City in 2018.
Since then he has won another three Premier League titles, three League Cups, one FA Cup and has scored 75 goals during his time at the Etihad.
