I’VE never been popular.
At school I hung around on the fringes of a small group, but I never had a best friend.
Sixth form college was lonely and any time I’ve left a job no one has bothered to ring me.
Yet I’m aware that people from my past are still in touch with each other. Social media is always throwing up pics of weddings and parties that someone has “forgotten” to invite me to.
I look in the mirror and consider myself good-looking. I go to the gym and don’t have a problem finding girls to date.
I willingly spend money on meals and hotels and think I’m okay in bed but my love affairs never last long.
