THE sun is shining and that means Salford star Nene Macdonald is only going to burn brighter.
The elegant Papua New Guinea centre has been one of Super League’s top performers this term.
He has made a massive 2,323m, is in the competition’s leading three players for offloads and has weighed in with seven tries.
And exciting Macdonald was in sparkling form as Salford stunned St Helens 20-18 on Sunday.
But with grounds firming up in the current heat wave, the ex-Gold Coast ace has promised he is just going to get better.
Macdonald said of the win over Saints: “I loved it out there. You have to bring your best foot forward against that team.
