ON ANOTHER memorable night in North London, the boy wonder defied his age again.

Luke Littler became the youngest player to reach the last 16 at the Paddy Power PDC World Championship – and history beckons.

And after a brilliant 4-1 demolition of Canada’s Matt Campbell, Littler was in tears afterwards as he hugged mum, Lisa, in the VIP lane.

Then he resolved to celebrate by breaking out of his Islington hotel today to “chill out, go shopping, and treat myself to more shoes and pants”.

A reminder: Boris Becker won Wimbledon at 17, Pele won his first World Cup at 17, Mike Tyson won the world heavyweight title at 19.

‘Luke the Nuke’ is 16 years old.
