ENGLAND V FIJI
COURTNEY LAWES reaches the milestone of 100 England caps today and admits he would not have made it without Eddie Jones.
The former England coach (inset) delivered a rocket to the backrower in 2016, dropping Lawes halfway through the Six Nations.
He has been a regular, barring time injured, ever since and makes it to three figures when he leads England out at Twickenham today against Fiji.
Lawes, the fifth Englishman to make it to 100 caps, said: “When I kind of stopped progressing as a player he (Jones) was the one who came in and really gave me the boot to push me on to be the player I could be.
