PRESTON hitman Will Keane did not have to look far for FA Cup inspiration.
Keane’s father-in-law is former Everton and Burnley striker Adrian Heath, who famously won the competition in 1984 when the Toffees beat Watford 2-0 in front of 100,000 at Wembley.
Now, it is ex-Wigan forward Keane’s chance to write his own history in the competition as the Championship Lilywhites look to cause a shock at Stamford Bridge tonight.
“I’ve definitely heard a couple of times from him (Adrian) about winning the FA Cup,” said Keane, whose partner is Heath’s daughter Megan.
“So, yeah, I definitely know the importance of it!
“He’s spoken to me a lot about the magic of the cup and how it’s one of the greatest achievements he’s ever had.
