JAMES WADE booked a duel with defending champion Nathan Aspinall at the Betfred World Matchplay and then insisted he is far from finished.
Starsport columnist Wade might have been a late qualifier for the Winter Gardens but he is ready to make his mark.
"The Machine' was in fine form as he beat Dutchman Danny Noppert 10-5 in the first round yesterday to set up a clash with Aspinall, who defeated Luke Woodhouse 10-8 on Saturday.
Wade lifted this trophy in 2007 and 17 years later he remains one of the biggest names in the sport.
