No disputes there. Anderson was way off the pace, especially with a partisan crowd on his side.

But it wasn't as chastening as the Flying Scotsman's pre-match tirade that Luke Littler's career could go "t*** up" because of excessive media attention.

"See this now," said the two-time world champion. "Because with another youngster called Josh Rock, all you press and everything else have absolutely destroyed him (Rock).

"So if it ever goes t*** up (for Littler) give yourselves a pat on the back because that's the way it's going.
