BOYS From The Blackstuff and Titanic star Bernard Hill has died aged 79.
The actor, who played Yosser Hughes in the 80s series, had a hugely successful career on the small and big screen.
He was even in The Responder, which returned to BBC One last night.
His agent Lou Coulson confirmed the news of his death.
