MEMBERS of the Household Cavalry take to the streets around Buckingham Palace in the early hours for rehearsals of the Coronation parade. The run-through, ahead of the ceremony on May 6, came as the palace released details of the souvenir programme, which includes a family portrait with Prince George on the King’s knee.
HUNDREDS of members of the armed forces — many on horseback — took to the streets of London in the early hours for the first rehearsal for the King’s Coronation.
They followed the 1.3-mile-long route through the silent streets, travelling along Whitehall and through Admiralty Arch between Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.
