The 22-year-old American forward grew up as a Chelsea fan in a Premier League-mad household in San Diego and is set to make her debut for the Blues in their WSL opener against Tottenham.
Chelsea have signed Fishel from Mexican side Tigres to provide competition and cover for star striker Sam Kerr, as Emma Hayes's side bid to continue their domestic dominance with a fifth straight title.
Much is expected from the versatile attacker, who can play as a striker and in the No10 role and made her international debut for the United States on Monday.
She scored 17 goals in 17 games to help Tigres win the title last season and finished as the league's top scorer.
"My brother is Arsenal and my dad was Liverpool, so I rocked the blue shirt and supported Chelsea since I was eight years old," says Fishel. "Eden Hazard was my favourite player, because I just loved how he played.
