They are out of the League Cup, after a dismal third-round defeat by Nottingham Forest, and Arsenal's position at the top of the table makes for uncomfortable viewing, but any Spurs fan and Conte himself-would have taken that at the start of the campaign.
The questions around Spurs are not so much about substance, but style and Conte's side will be expected to be significantly more convincing and less unpredictable this side of the World Cup.
