IREDA loan disbursements up 41%

STATE-OWNED INDIAN RENEWABLE Energy Development Agency (IREDA) sanctioned loans worth ₹31,087 crore in the third quarter of the current financial year, up 129% from ₹13,558 crore in the same period last year, according to provisional data provided by the company.

The company's disbursements also surged 41% to ₹17,236 crore in the October-December quarter from ₹12,220 crore in the same quarter of FY24. IREDA's outstanding loan book grew 36% from last year, reaching ₹69,000 crore. Cumulatively, IREDA has sanctioned loans worth more than ₹2.39 lakh crore and disbursed more than ₹1.52 lakh crore, it said.
