To boost productivity and foster inclusive growth, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has recommended that the government prioritize employment generation as a central theme in the Union Budget for FY26.
The CII has suggested the introduction of an integrated National Employment Policy, which would consolidate various employment-generating schemes currently being implemented by multiple ministries and states.
