DPIIT Looks at Policy Tweaks to Boost FDI

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) held a consultation with stakeholders on Wednesday on ways to increase the inflows of foreign direct investment (FDI) by carrying out required changes in regulations.

Representatives of the Reserve Bank of India, Securities and Exchange Board of India, different government departments, and industry chambers such as CII, Ficci and Assocham participated in the consultation, a senior official said.
