29 Naxals killed in Bastar firefight ahead of polls

This comes days ahead of Lok Sabha polls - while Kanker will vote on April 26, the Naxal hotbed of Bastar votes on April 19.

Bastar's Inspector General Sundarraj P had told The Indian Express last week that more than 60,000 security personnel are deployed in the district.
