
TROUBLES ARE GROWING for Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) in China and Europe, with a collapse of traditional dealer partnerships and sluggish consumer demand impacting volumes in the key markets.
In China, JLR has posted the lowest quarterly sales in six quarters during the three months ended September and has warned of a poorer second half.
China, which has been the biggest market for JLR for four consecutive years till FY24, slipped to the second position during the period after its retail volumes declined by 11%.
The US is now the largest market for the two British premium automotive brands.
