Tributes continued to pour in for former prime minister Manmohan Singh globally on Saturday, with US President Biden calling the leader "a true statesman and a dedicated public servant".

NEW DELHI: Biden expressed condolences on the passing of Singh, recognizing his contributions to US-India relations and global cooperation. "Jill [US first lady] and I join the people of India in grieving the loss of former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh," President Biden said in an official statement by the White House.
