NEW DELHI: National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval will visit China for talks with foreign minister Wang Yi under the Special Representatives mechanism on December 18 to address the long-standing border dispute following the disengagement of forces on the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

The external affairs ministry said in a statement on Monday night that Doval will participate in the 23rd meeting of the Special Representatives with Wang Yi, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China's (CPC) Central Committee.
