BJP likened Purvanchalis to Rohingya: Kejriwal
Hindustan Times Noida|December 21, 2024
AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Friday criticised the BJP national president JP Nadda for remarks that he alleged were "deeply offensive" to Delhi's Purvanchali community.

NEW DELHI:

Kejriwal alleged that Nadda equated Purvanchalis – migrants from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar who have lived in Delhi for decades – with "Rohingya infiltrators and Bangladeshis."

The BJP hit back at the AAP and said that Kejriwal in 2019 "insulted" the Purvanchali community for coming to Delhi to get treatment in hospitals.
