Tejashwi offers ₹2.5K for women in next RJD govt

RJD leader and former deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav announced on Saturday the 'Maai Behan Maan Yojana,' a welfare scheme aimed at supporting economically weaker women in the state.

DARBHANGA: He assured that if the RJD forms the government in 2025, ₹2,500 would be transferred directly to the accounts of mothers and sisters struggling with rising costs of daily items.

Addressing a press conference in Darbhanga, the RJD leader reiterated his party's commitment to addressing pressing issues like unemployment, poverty, and inflation in Bihar. As part of his district-wide outreach program, he interacted with party workers and highlighted the challenges being faced by common people under the BJP-NDA government.
