MELBOURNE:
"Kohli has been fined 20% of his match fee, breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct on the first day of the fourth Test against Australia in Melbourne on Thursday," the game's world governing body said in a statement.

The on-field umpires also had a word with the two players as things cooled down.
