25 held over Haldwani clashes

At least 25 more people were arrested over 24 hours in connection with violence that broke out on February 8 in Haldwani, a police officer said on Sunday.

Police said the total number of arrests have reached 30, and efforts were underway to arrest the key accused Abdul Malik, who was the occupant of the controversial land in Banbhoolpora locality of Haldwani town.
