The Adani Group has proposed to develop a 370-km economic corridor in Odisha connecting Gopalpur Port to Jeypore via Rayagada district under the PM Gati Shakti scheme.
In a letter to chief minister Mohan Majhi, managing director of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone, Karan Adani said the proposed economic corridor can be built under BOOT (Build, Own, Operate, Transfer) model. "This is crucial for bolstering industrial connectivity and ensuring seamless movement of goods and services across the region," the letter dated November 12 said.
