DELHI LG NOD TO RECRUITMENT OF MEDICAL STAFF

Lieutenant governor (LG) VK Saxena approved the recruitment of 1,463 health care staff, including 701 nurses and 762 paramedical staff, to address the shortage of medical personnel in the Capital, the LG secretariat said on Monday.

The posts will be filled on an outsourcing basis through public-sector undertakings by individual hospitals against the recruitment quota, officials said.
