A member of the K-pop band Monsta X, the 29-year-old singer enlisted in the military on April 4 and entered the 5th Infantry Division recruit training centre in Yeoncheon (Gyeonggi Province). Prior to his departure, MONSTA X treated fans to a series of clicks that also included Shownu, who is currently serving in the military.

The 29-year-old South Korean singer posted a picture of his new hairstyle on Instagram before being driven to the city of Wonju to take part in the military enlistment ceremony. The caption said: "I'll have a good trip!"
