MOST MINISTERS TO BE RETAINED IN J'KHAND CABINET

The new council of ministers in Jharkhand is likely to have a familiar look as chief minister-designate Hemant Soren is expected to retain six of his colleagues who were part of the outgoing cabinet and won the just-concluded assembly elections in the mineral-rich state, people aware of the matter said on Monday.

At least four new faces are likely to be included to replace four outgoing ministers-Banna Gupta, Baby Devi, Baidyanath Ram and Mithilesh Thakur-who lost the polls. Jharkhand can have maximum 12 ministers, including the chief minister.
