"It will be listed," a bench headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud said as the petition filed by AAP councillor Kuldeep Dhalor, who was the candidate for the post of mayor, was mentioned by senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi.
Singhvi submitted that the returning officer was allegedly caught on video acting in a biased manner. "This is the case pertaining to the mayor polls in Chandigarh Municipal Corporation. There is a video recording that the returning officer did not act fairly. This is serious. We are seeking an urgent listing, he said.
