A FORKING DISGRACE

EVIL murderer Stephen Carney has been granted prison leave to learn how to drive a forklift, we can reveal.

Sources told the Irish Mirror how Carney, who brutally strangled Amanda Jenkins to death in her Dublin flat in 2007, was given several days out last week to complete a course in North Dublin.

Sources say the move, which saw the 47-year-old leave Shelton Abbey prison in Wicklow and driven to the driving school, is part of an effort to rehabilitate him back into society.

And speaking exclusively to the Irish Mirror, Amanda's mother Ann told of her horror at the development, which could see Carney one step closer to his permanent release. She said: "OK, so he's done a course but who's going to employ him?

"Like who's going to employ someone and then you have to put on your CV 'Well I was a murderer'.

"He gets everything. For a person that took somebody's life he gets everything handed to him on a platter.

"I was going to say it must be a training course in how to get away with murder.

Ann also told how she was horrified to learn Carney was doing the course which involved him complete a theory test and drive a forklift around a building - without her having been consulted.
