WELL lads, if you’ve got problems paying your sky-high electricity bills, just tell the ESB your name is Mark Zuckerberg. 

Seriously, that’s all you have to do, as apparently, our state energy company is totally fine with the billionaire owner of Facebook not settling up.

Not only did it forget to ask the social media platform to pay tens of millions of euros for power used at its giant data centre in Clonee, Co Meath, over 18 months, but the company also says it can’t ask for the money to be paid back now, either.

The problem is being blamed on a “connection error” at the substation supplying the mega data centre.
