Former Corrie star Ellie, EastEnder Bobby & cyclist Jody sign for Strictly

FORMER Coronation Street star Ellie Leach, EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier and Paralympian Jody Cundy are the latest stars to join the Strictly Come Dancing line-up.

Ellie, 22, who left the ITV soap earlier this year after more than a decade playing Faye Windass, said she was “so excited” to appear in the BBC dance show.

She added: “It still doesn’t feel real… it’s always been a dream of mine so I guess dreams really do come true.

“I used to dance a little bit when I was younger but it was tap, ballet and modern street dance.

“I’m not trained at all, especially not in ballroom or Latin, so I’m really excited to learn those new skills.

“I can’t wait to join the Strictly family.”
