JUDE BELLINGHAM admitted he was cursing Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez... before making up with him.
Martinez was booked for a crunching challenge on Bellingham in United’s feisty 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid in Houston’s NRG Stadium.
Bellingham, who opened the scoring after six minutes with an exquisite chip over new United keeper Andre Onana, said he was furious with Martinez and that he lost his cool in the dressing room at half-time.
But Bellingham, who joined Real from Borussia Dortmund this summer for £88.5million, potentially rising to £115m, said he and Martinez made up after the final whistle and put their differences to one side.
“The little tiff with Martinez is one of those things,” Bellingham said.
