AN Irish tourist suspected of killing his partner was remanded to a Spanish prison yesterday by an investigating magistrate.
The man appeared before the official following the discovery on Sunday of the body of Kirsty Ward, from Dundrum in Dublin, in a hotel corridor in the resort town of Salou, near Barcelona.
The hearing at Tarragona's Court of Violence Against Women, took place behind-closed-doors and no details of what was said were made public.
