COMEDIAN Tommy Tiernan has admitted that he was "wildly egocentric, greedy and ambitious" in the past.
But now the Navan man, 53, says he is "more relaxed" after taking up daily meditation.
The chat king, whose Tommy Tiernan Show is one of the most popular on telly, spoke as he gets back on the road with his sell-out stand-up tour Tomfoolery.
He said yesterday: "I've been depressed and angry and felt as if the world was on my shoulders.
"I've been turned upside down a few times as well by stuff that's happened in work and gone through strange and very unpleasant stresses.
"Those things will probably come again as I'm fairly likely now to screw it up another few times and to make bad decisions. But I guess To you keep rolling.
