A MURDER investigation is underway after a man died from a stab wound to his leg last night.
The man, in his 30s, was discovered after gardai were called to an incident at a residence at Meadow Way on the Castlecomer Road in Kilkenny city at around 6pm.
He had sustained a fatal stab wound to his leg and was pronounced dead at the property.
A man in his 60s was arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of murder.
