A TERMINALLY campaigner ill end-of-life has been scammed by a bogus fund she was duped into thinking was from billionaire Elon Musk.

The name of the tycoon who owns Twitter and electric car giant Tesla as well as an estimated €170billion fortune, was cynically used to con multiple sclerosis sufferer Kate Tobin, 56, out of €600.

Her previous campaigning in the Irish Mirror for the right to die was used by the cruel con artists to target her.

Kate told the Irish Mirror: "I received an email last October from [a bogus entity called] the Elon Musk Financial Services Department.

"They said that my story had been read and I had been selected by Mr Musk to receive €5,000 per month for nine months to give me a better quality of life.
