SERIAL Killer Robbie Lawlor claimed he was covered in fuel the night mobster Owen Maguire was shot because he "had to syphon petrol" - despite driving a diesel.
The gangster also said he was only wearing his underpants and runners when gardai stopped him because he had "an argument with his girlfriend".
Revelations of what Lawlor told cops on the night have been disclosed by retired.
