NEW York woman Roisin Wiley admitted to being speechless as she was crowned as this year’s Rose of Tralee.
The 27-year-old, who lives and works in Manhattan and whose parents hail from Limerick, was the red-hot favourite to win this year’s contest. Yet a stunned Roisin told co-hosts Daithi O Se and Kathryn Thomas that she was “overwhelmed” when her name was read out.
